Mortgage Banking Warehouse Lending Production Assistant

: Position Title Mortgage Banking Warehouse Lending Production Assistant Location Main Office (Jackson, MI) Job Summary As a Warehouse Production Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring advances are batched and forwarded to the wire room on a regular basis and according to department policy and procedures. Batching involves review and supervisory approval of transactions prepared by Advance Processors. Without this approval process wires do not get sent to the wire room for processing. This position also serves as a resource for Advance Processors answering questions and helping to resolve issues. This position also assists in the preparation and monitoring of weekly overdue note reports and other reports generated for department management relative to production. Reports are prepared during slower times in daily operations. Ability to work in a team environment and take ownership interest in your job along with the ability to give direction to others and take direction from management are key to working successfully in this department due to daily deadlines and workloads. Job Responsibilities: Verify the accuracy of advanced requests and send to wire room every 30 minutes through batching process. Secondary review and supervisory approval electronically within the Warloc system are part of the “batching” process that results in information being electronically sent to DNA and GFX to post accounting transactions and initiate wire transfer. This allows correspondents to check for IMAD numbers regularly and minimizes calls and emails requesting this information thus maintaining our excellent customer service that our correspondents expect. Assist with creation and monitoring of overdue note report on a weekly basis. Assist management with special projects as needed. Occasionally fill in for Advance Processors due to vacations and sick days. Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience in an office/customer service position or comparable education.
• Familiar with Excel, Word, detail oriented, organized, and customer focused. Must be able to multi-task and remain calm and composed.
