Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian Technicians to join one of many of our open roles in Saginaw, Genesee and Shiawasee veterinary teams. The successful candidate will assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals, providing patient care, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role is essential in delivering high-quality care and support to our animal patients and their owners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.
• Prepare animals and equipment for procedures, ensuring proper restraint and safety.
• Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures.
• Perform laboratory tests, collect and process samples (blood, urine, tissues).
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment logs.
• Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, nutrition, and health maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and treatment areas.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Provide compassionate care to animals and support to pet owners.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Veterinary Technology or related field.
• Valid certification or credential as a Veterinary Technician (if applicable in your region).
• Prior experience in a veterinary setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle animals gently and effectively.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
