Position Overview
We're seeking a Superintendent to oversee field operations for water and wastewater treatment projects. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You'll lead on-site teams, coordinate with project managers, and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and clients.
What You'll Do
- Manage day-to-day field operations, including scheduling, workforce coordination, and subcontractor oversight.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and enforce site-specific safety plans.
- Monitor quality control and ensure work meets project specifications.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain budgets, schedules, and project goals.
- Lead and mentor field staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Resolve on-site challenges quickly and effectively to keep projects on track.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of construction experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
