As a Treasury Operations Analyst Intern on our Treasury Payments Team, you will help ensure the prompt and efficient processing of various payment types while maintaining accuracy and mitigating risks. You will gain valuable experience in wire transfers, check processing, and credit card operations while supporting critical financial transactions across multiple business areas. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical mindset will contribute to the team's success in this fast-paced environment. About The Role- Verify payment requests received via email to ensure accuracy and identify potential fraudulent concerns
- Support check processing initiatives, including participation in special projects focused on improving manual processes
- Assist with credit card transactions including processing client appraisal charges and managing refunds
- Participate in potential Treasury Management System migration activities and data clean-up reviews
- Communicate effectively regarding payment request status and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Excel macros or interest in learning advanced Excel functions
- Background or coursework in accounting, finance, or treasury operations
- Interest in process improvement and automation
- Basic understanding of data analysis concepts
- Knowledge of or interest in coding, programming, or financial systems
