Overview:

As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Marketplace Homes, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity of our operations. You will be responsible for handling corporate accounting tasks, general ledger accounting, utilizing property management CRM software, performing account reconciliations, and adhering to company and client compliance standards. Your meticulous attention to detail and expertise in public accounting practices will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records.

Duties:

- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.

- Process a high volume of recurring billing. Enter data into a CRM, upload invoices, and follow company standards for coding.

- Conduct general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

- Assist in month-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.

- Maintain organized records of financial transactions for auditing purposes.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in corporate accounting and general ledger reconciliation.

- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation processes.

- Familiarity with GAAP standards.

- Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment is preferred.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
