Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Licensed Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships while providing expert advice on insurance products. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact the success of our clients and the company.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals. (leads will be provided)
- Cross-sell life insurance, memberships, and credit card offerings.
- Educate clients on our wide range of products.
- Engage in outside sales activities, including networking, telemarketing, and attending community events.
- Negotiate policy terms with clients to ensure their needs are met while adhering to company guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and changes in insurance regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field is preferred.
- MUST have an active Property & Casualty license in Michigan
- Life & Health license is a strong plus (not required to start)
- Prior sales experience is a bonus — but a passion for helping people and willingness to learn is more important
- Comfortable working in a structured, performance-driven environment
- Great communication and follow-up skills
What We Offer:
- Base Pay: $17/hour+commission
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, occasional weekends by appointment
- Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
- Location: In-office
