Summary:

The role of the Clinic Nursing and Quality Supervisor is to provide leadership and oversight to the Saint Ignace

and Mackinaw City campuss. This position will work closely with the Clinic Director, Providers and nursing. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Practice Quality Manager to join our team. As a Practice Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our practice maintains high standard of quality and compliance. You will be responsible for standardizing, implementing and monitoring quality improvement metrics, developing and implementing policies and procedures and analyzing data to identify areas of improvement. This position requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with all team members at all levels of the organization. As a Practice Quality Manager, you will work with ambulatory executives to ensure quality metrics from HEDIS, RHC and PCMH are maintained and submitted in a timely fashion. As a practice quality manager, you will work with the practice manager and the Chief Ambulatory Officer to ensure compliance with all RHC and PCMH standards and all other accrediting organizations.. Able to develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and submit to regulatory bodies with oversight of CAO.

-As a Practice Quality Manager, you will collaborate with various stakeholders, including providers, nurses, administrators and support staff to establish and maintain quality standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement. She/ he will provide leadership in the development of goals and objectives and implements/ monitors progress towards the achievement of such goals.

Essential Duties include (but not limited to):

-Ensures that patient care is provided are of the highest quality achievable within effective and efficient use of resources.

-Collaborates with clinical and administrative staff to establish and maintain quality standards. Manages clinical operations, phone/video access to the health care team, and patient flow.

-Manages quality improvement initiatives for areas of responsibility and ensures compliance with HEDIS indicators and other mandated standards.

-Monitors, and responds to quality measures and outcomes within BCBS, ACO, PCMH, RHC and all VBP initiatives

-Must have the ability to evaluate all aspects of care, identify problems and work within the healthcare team to develop solutions

-Works collaboratively with leaders to build needed quality and operational reports within EMR. Uses data to help drive decision-making in the clinics. Has the ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information verbally and visually.

-Leads cross-functional teams to address identified areas for improvement

-Works to ensure compliance with all RHC and PCMH standards and all other accrediting organizations.. Able to develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and submit to regulatory bodies with oversight of CAO.

-Provides supervision and support for the clinics.

-Collaborates and provides support to internal and external customers as it relates to clinical quality.

-Observes and enforces all applicable MSHS and departmental policies and procedures. Reviews existing departmental or general policies as required.

-Conducts routine performance evaluations and competencies of clinical staff.

-Ensures compliance with the requirements of all governmental and other accrediting organizations.

-Works directly with staff to correct any deficient practices, uses evidence based tools like DMAIC and PDSA to develop process improvements.

-Maintains a high level of awareness of community needs and requirements for services.

-Maintains employee schedule, implements staffing solutions when needed.

-Responsible for biweekly departmental payroll.

Qualifications Required:

RN licensure required preferred, will accept LPN or MA or healthcare experience with strong clinical quality background

2-3 years of clinical leadership experience

Customer service focused

Able to develop positive relations with staff, lead and inspire teams to achieve quality improvement goals

Positively represents the practices both within and outside the organization

Exemplary attendance record

Computer literacy with Word, Excel and EMR

Data retrieval and analysis

Able to work a flexible schedule and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously when needed
