Salary Range: $46,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs.
• Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly in quality management systems.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective actions.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure product compliance.
• Maintain inspection equipment calibration and ensure a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency with precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inspection records.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and non-conformance procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso)
• ASQ Certification (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT))
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Proficiency with statistical process control (SPC) software
