Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability and reliability of critical manufacturing IT systems (MES, SCADA, ERP) to minimize production downtime.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for factory floor hardware, software, and industrial control systems (PLCs, HMIs, industrial PCs).
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure for both operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) environments, ensuring secure and efficient data flow.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and best practices to protect sensitive manufacturing data and intellectual property.
• Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and system restorations for critical production servers and data.
• Administer and optimize Windows and Linux servers, virtual environments, and storage solutions supporting manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with production teams and vendors to evaluate, implement, and integrate new technologies and system upgrades.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience supporting IT infrastructure in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including awareness of OT/IT integration.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex system issues quickly to minimize production downtime.
• Experience with data backup, recovery, and business continuity planning.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems (SCADA, MES, DCS).
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles for Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
• Experience supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Knowledge of IoT/IIoT platforms and edge computing in a production environment.
