Product Manager, Cloud Network Delivery

Ford
Dearborn, MI

In this position…

As the Product Manager, Cloud Network Delivery your primary responsibility will be ensuring that our Cloud Network Delivery Teams are able to understand, deliver, and evolve the technical offerings the team is responsible for. This will involve the support of building standardized design patterns that are repeatable, developing best practices for work intake, organization, and delivery, and aligning with the Cloud Network Delivery leadership team for overall product vision and articulation to the customers that rely on us.

As this role is part of our continued growth and technical evolution in our cloud environments, this is considered a fluid and evolving position that will be at the forefront of our modernization journey in Cloud Network Delivery. The focus on our customers, high-quality engineering, and a curiosity driven approach will propel and shape our technical future that you will be a part of leading.

What you'll do…

  • Interface and organize technical offerings to support internal business unit projects with the ability to connect and articulate future growth opportunities across Cloud Network Delivery and teams reliant on our services.
  • Develop and maintain a technical roadmap for Cloud Network Delivery services.
  • Position and articulate current technical capabilities and products to internal and external stakeholders within the organization.
  • Drive efficient work estimation, backlog grooming, and proper priority of upcoming tactical and strategic work.
  • Deeply understand our customer needs and become an expert in the services we offer with a focus on connecting technical deliverables to business outcomes.
  • Influence multiple internal and external stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Deliver multiple avenues of clear communication including easy to consume documentation, demo-days, lunch-and-learns, and technical architecture reviews.
  • Manage day-to-day technical and design direction.

You'll have…

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in IT or other technical roles.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related role.
  • 3 years of experience in developing and launching products or technologies within the public cloud networking space.
  • 3 years of experience with large-scale GCP deployments.
  • Self-starting capabilities and the ability to thrive in an autonomous environment.
  • Experience leveraging Jira for work intake, backlog grooming, and project tracking.
  • Ability to articulate and shape the functions of a product management group.

You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!

As an established global company, we offer the benefit of choice. You can choose what your Ford future will look like: will your story span the globe, or keep you close to home? Will your career be a deep dive into what you love, or a series of new teams and new skills? Will you be a leader, a changemaker, a technical expert, a culture builder…or all of the above? No matter what you choose, we offer a work life that works for you, including:

• Immediate medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage

• Flexible family care days, paid parental leave, new parent ramp-up programs, subsidized back-up child care and more

• Family building benefits including adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, fertility treatments, and more

• Vehicle discount program for employees and family members and management leases

• Tuition assistance

• Established and active employee resource groups

• Paid time off for individual and team community service

• A generous schedule of paid holidays, including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day

• Paid time off and the option to purchase additional vacation time.
