Workday Technical Analyst I

Akkodis is seeking a Workday Technical Analyst I for a Contract position with a client based in Troy, MI (Remote) . The ideal candidate will support Workday security, compliance, integrations, and technical reporting. This role requires technical aptitude, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to support compliance-driven configuration and audit/reporting needs.

Rate Range: $48/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Workday Technical Analyst I job responsibilities include:

• Execute Workday integrations and configurations as required by business teams.

• Run technical reports, analyze results, and compile technical logs for troubleshooting.

• Develop custom Workday reports to support business, audit, and compliance requirements.

• Provide compliance and regulatory reporting support for Internal Audit and Compliance teams.

• Reproduce technical issues, document findings, and create detailed technical case notes.

• Ensure all configurations meet technical, security, and compliance targets.

• Recommend improvements to technical SOPs, controls, tools, and reporting metrics.

• Expand knowledge of Workday technology: Studio integrations, EIBs, Core Connectors, Calculated Fields, Custom Objects, etc.

• Participate in technical testing, validation, and ad‑hoc test execution.

• Interpret technical results into digestible reports for business audiences.

• Continuously evaluate integration optimization, performance tuning, automation, and operational improvements.

Desired Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience working in ERP platforms (Workday strongly preferred; PeopleSoft/Lawson/SAP acceptable).

• Basic programming experience in one or more languages (C, C++, Java, Python, C#).

• Understanding of Workday access & role-based security models (domains, BP security, SOX models).

• Experience configuring secure integrations and ensuring sensitive data (PII) is protected.

• Understanding of compliance-driven design (SOX workflows, approval structures, audit reporting).

• Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).

• Ability to create clear and actionable documentation, workflow diagrams, and technical reports.

Pay Details: $48.00 to $53.00 per hour
