OMG Federal is part of a family of tribally owned businesses supporting the Otoe-Missouria Tribe, dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions across a range of industries.

We are currently looking to hire an Administrative Support person with secretarially capabilities and office support experience to provide support in a key role to a federal agency in a highly visible position.

This is an SCA position providing a range of benefits to include an hourly H&W Rate to use towards health insurance and other benefits. This is in addition to the posted hourly rate.

Position Summary

The Administrative Support position provides clerical, administrative, and customer service support to ensure smooth daily operations within a professional federal office environment. This role serves as a key point of contact for staff, clients, visitors, and vendors while supporting scheduling, correspondence, records management, and general office coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact by answering and routing calls, greeting visitors, and responding to general inquiries.
  • Provide customer service support for walk-in requests, staff needs, and office-related questions.
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate calendars, and manage conference room reservations.
  • Prepare, format, distribute, and file correspondence, memoranda, notices, and reports.
  • Maintain office records, directories, logs, and tracking systems.
  • Support administrative coordination for daily operations and special projects.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages.
  • Maintain office supply inventory and submit replenishment requests as needed.
  • Assist with office equipment support, including copiers, printers, and scanners.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications and other standard office systems to support business operations.
  • Develop, maintain, and update written procedures for administrative processes and continuity of operations.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is a plus
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative support experience, preferably in a federal government, contractor, or closely related professional office environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to learn new systems and support evolving operational needs
  • Must have be a US Citizen and have an Active Public Trust clearance level.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting office operations, scheduling, records management, or front-desk functions.
  • Familiarity with administrative procedures, document preparation, and workflow tracking.
  • Customer service experience in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is a federal office setting. It may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, and occasional lifting of office supplies or materials. The role may involve interaction with internal staff, clients, vendors, and visitors throughout the workday.
