Social learning resource coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Social & Emotional Learning Resource Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising staff and overseeing the implementation of our Social & Emotional Learning (SEL) program for children and parents in a structured environment. This individual will represent TOHR by exhibiting an optimistic mindset and will play a key role in ensuring that our program effectively promotes positive character development and emotional well-being among our students and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and support program staff in the implementation of SEL activities and curriculum.

- Oversee the planning, coordination, and evaluation of SEL programs to ensure alignment with the organization's mission and goals.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to program staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

- Collaborate with the community to promote program participation and engagement.

- Monitor and evaluate program activities to ensure safety, quality, and positive outcomes for students and parents.

- Attend training and work with the leadership team to develop strategies for program expansion and sustainability.

Qualifications :

-High School Diploma or GED required.

-Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related combination of training, education, and experience.

- Prior experience in supervising staff and managing programs for children and youth.

- Strong understanding of Social & Emotional Learning principles and passion for TOHR’s missions and goals.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse groups.

- Demonstrated skills in motivating youth and effectively managing behavioral challenges.

- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently to achieve program objectives.

- Proficiency in utilizing technology and educational resources to support program implementation and evaluation.

-Must successfully pass a background check.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
