Vice President, Office & Property Operations
- Lead, mentor, and oversee Regional Property Managers, Director-level leaders, and other operational support teams to achieve company objectives.
- Direct and coordinate marketing, training, systems, and operational initiatives to ensure consistent execution across the portfolio.
- Partner with the SVP to develop and implement strategic plans, operational best practices, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate property performance, ensuring adherence to budget and operational goals while identifying areas for improvement.
- Oversee the marketing team to design and execute portfolio-wide marketing strategies and leasing initiatives.
- Oversee training programs to ensure property teams have the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to excel.
- Adapt and implement new initiatives and retention strategies, in collaboration with Human Resources, that address employee needs, improve morale, and reduce turnover.
- Champion a positive and inclusive employee culture by leading engagement initiatives, fostering cross-team collaboration, and driving programs that enhance workplace morale and connection.
- Optimize use of technology and property management systems to improve efficiency, reporting, and decision-making.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the operations team.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate property performance, operational compliance, and team engagement.
- Support regional teams with problem-solving, escalated resident concerns, and operational challenges.
- Ensure alignment of all operational activities with company policies, compliance requirements, and brand standards.
- Play integral role with acquisitions, due diligence, dispositions, lease-up strategies, and property transitions or onboarding.
- Take charge of strategic transitions and special projects, including property onboarding and rollout of company-wide initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive property management experience with a proven record in operational oversight, marketing, and training leadership.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and hold teams accountable.
- Demonstrated success in implementing systems and process improvements across multiple locations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with property management software strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel regularly, including overnight and out-of-state as needed.
