We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes. This role is essential in supporting individuals with various needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare, particularly in areas such as geriatrics and post-acute care, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Support daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.
- Document client progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including those with conditions requiring specialized knowledge such as geriatrics or medical-surgical care.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving experience (preferred, but training may be provided)
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)le.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
