Overview:
Join a compassionate and innovative therapy team as a certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA) supporting children with autism. This role is key in implementing individualized treatment plans fostering client independence and working closely with families and professionals to deliver top-tier care in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and execute individualized client treatment plans under OT supervision

• Address client needs in areas such as daily living motor skills play and sensory integration

• Communicate effectively with clients families physicians BCBA staff and colleagues

• Document client progress and complete required paperwork to meet company and insurance requirements

• Participate in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings

• Report client status changes to supervising OT

• Meet or exceed company productivity standards

• Ensure safety of self clients and others through sound judgment

• Coordinate treatment goals with interdisciplinary team

• Attend in-services trainings and other professional meetings

• Maintain licensure and certifications per state regulations

Schedule and Shift Details:
Evening and weekend availability required

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher

• Valid occupational therapist assistant license in Michigan

• At least 1 year of experience in pediatric care

• 1 years experience with any of the following EMR systems:

  • Allscripts Enterprise EHR

  • Allscripts Professional EHR

  • Other EMR systems
