Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to support students in a dynamic K–12 educational environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing social-emotional support, coordinating student services, and collaborating with educators and families to promote student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide social-emotional support and behavior intervention services to students
• Serve both General Education and Special Education student populations
• Act as the school's 504 Plan Coordinator
• Conduct assessments and implement appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and student support planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school and state guidelines

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work Required
• Active Michigan Social Worker Licensure Required
• Experience working with K–12 students in a school setting
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Assignment Details

• Support students across K–12 grade levels
• Serve both General Education and Special Education populations
• Provide social-emotional and behavioral support services
• Coordinate and oversee 504 Plan implementation and compliance
