Business Development Representative
About McDonald Auto Group: At McDonald Auto Group, we’re committed to delivering exceptional vehicles and service to drivers across the Saginaw area. We’re looking for a motivated and outgoing Business Development Representative (BDR) to help grow our customer base and connect more people with the right vehicle. Position Summary: As a BDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers—reaching out, building relationships, and setting appointments for our sales team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, customer-focused, and excited about the automotive industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls, emails, and texts to engage new and existing leads
- Set appointments for the sales team and follow up to ensure strong communication
- Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system. (Customer Relationship Management)
- Respond quickly to online and phone inquiries
- Support marketing campaigns and promotions
- Help create a positive customer experience from the very first interaction
- Strong communication and people skills
- Comfortable making calls and talking with customers
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Basic computer and CRM knowledge (we’ll train you!)
- Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus
- Automotive interest or background is a bonus, but not required
- Valid driver’s license
