As a Security Officer - Utilities Unarmed in China, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a utility-focused location, you will play an important role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, staying highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties. You will interact with individuals on site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication, all while upholding Allied Universal's core values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Pay Rate: $16.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat05:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor for and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, visitors, and employees as required.
• Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of observations, incidents, and/or activities during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent such as a GED.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
