Construction Observer / Inspector
We are looking for a Construction Observer to join our team for the 2026 Construction Season!
As a Construction Observer, you will be performing daily inspection and documentation of infrastructure projects including road, water main, and sewer construction. You will maintain daily reports, measurements, calculations and computations of quantities and ensure conformance with contract documents. This position would have a start date in March 2026.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Candidate must be 18 years or older, and possess a valid driver's license
- Civil engineering, surveying or construction management education and/or training desired
- 5 or more years related work experience desired
- Experience with Appia or Fieldbook software is helpful
- Federal aid and MDOT knowledge a plus
