Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage engineering projects from conception through implementation, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D departments to resolve technical challenges and support new product introduction.
• Develop and implement engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental requirements in all engineering activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in engineering leadership or management roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Deep technical expertise in manufacturing processes, automation, and product lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated success in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineering teams.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies with a proven track record of delivering complex manufacturing projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding and application of continuous improvement principles (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) in a production setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Familiarity with automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 concepts
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
