**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This position is a critical first responder for all manufacturing equipment used in lithium-ion battery production. You will apply your technical skills to install, maintain, and repair highly automated and high-volume manufacturing systems. The role offers a choice between two shifts: 2nd shift from 4:30 pm to 3 am, Monday through Thursday, with a $1.50 premium, or weekends from 6 am to 6:30 pm, Friday through Sunday, with a $6 premium.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform maintenance repairs on electrical systems ranging from 24 VDC to 480 VAC 3 phase, mechanical systems, conveyor systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics/vacuum systems.
+ Maintain detailed, accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs in a CMMS.
+ Monitor equipment performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency.
+ Lead troubleshooting efforts for equipment failures, ensuring timely and effective repairs to minimize production disruptions.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.
+ Troubleshoot complex mechanical systems including servo motors, ball screws, linear rails, and conveyor systems.
+ Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Adhere strictly to safety standards (LOTO, Arc Flash, NFPA 70E, OSHA) to promote a safe working environment.
+ Perform tasks that prevent errors and omissions of maintenance tasks and work orders.
+ Provide emergency breakdown response, including occasional on-call availability.
+ Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by management.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience.
+ Knowledge around PMs, repairs on electrical systems (24 VDC - 480 VDC), conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum systems, PLCs, and network connections.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Journeyman cardholder
+ Lithium battery experience

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
