Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled 3rd Shift Hi-lo Operator to join our team for a project in the Detroit facility. The role involves operating a forklift to move materials and maintain the warehouse's organization and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Count and manage inventory.
• Move material throughout the warehouse using a forklift.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers and customers.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of recent electric forklift experience.
• Proficiency in driving a sit-down electric forklift.
• Experience in cycle counting or inventory counting (minimum of 6 months).
• Valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proven attendance record, verified by references.
• Steel Toed Boots.

Work Environment

The work environment is a clean and well-lit warehouse/production floor, with a strong emphasis on safety. The dress code includes jeans, a shirt without logos or vulgar language, and Steel Toed Boots. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential overtime on Saturdays.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
