About the Role – Busperson (Cedar Bistro)As a Busperson at Cedar Bistro, you will play an important role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. You will support the waitstaff by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, which directly contributes to overall guest satisfaction.
You will be responsible for efficiently clearing and resetting tables, helping to ensure the restaurant is always prepared to welcome new guests. In addition, you will assist the kitchen and service teams by delivering food and beverages, helping to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
Your efforts will help create a welcoming, well-maintained dining environment that encourages repeat visits and positive guest experiences.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors and service stations
- Restock supplies such as napkins, utensils, and condiments as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction
This position requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as you will regularly interact with both guests and staff. Attention to detail is essential to ensure tables are properly set and the dining area remains clean and inviting.
Time management skills are important to maintain smooth service flow, especially during high-volume periods. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus and contributes to maintaining a safe and compliant dining environment.
Overall, your contributions will directly impact service quality and the guest experience at Cedar Bistro.
