Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure for both office and operational technology (OT) environments, including networks, servers, databases, and industrial control systems (ICS).
• Ensure high availability and reliability of critical production systems (e.g., MES, ERP, SCADA) to minimize downtime and support continuous manufacturing operations.
• Implement and enforce robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive manufacturing data, intellectual property, and operational technology from threats.
• Lead IT projects for technology upgrades, system implementations (e.g., new MES modules, IoT integrations), and process improvements within the manufacturing facility.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for plant floor systems, hardware, software, and end-users to resolve issues promptly.
• Develop and manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and service level agreements to optimize costs and ensure quality service delivery.
• Formulate IT strategy and roadmap aligned with manufacturing business objectives, focusing on efficiency, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing IT operations and infrastructure in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing-specific IT systems such as ERP, MES, SCADA, and PLM.
• Strong project management skills for IT implementations and upgrades within production settings.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing IT teams, budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of IT/OT convergence and industrial cybersecurity best practices.
• Ability to align IT strategy with business objectives and drive digital transformation initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES), SCADA, or industrial control systems (ICS).
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with IoT, Industry 4.0, or smart factory initiatives.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
