Field IT Engineering Technician
Position Responsibilities:
- See to it that vendors are providing agreed upon support to internal customers residing at the company’s distribution centers and manufacturing plants, coordinates projects with associated resources, and meets with business leaders and with Reyes Holdings IT to drive positive end results
- Ensures that all Reyes Holdings IT infrastructure and equipment in field-based locations is properly configured and installed in collaboration with other IT teams who implement solutions that meet the needs of the company’s field operations team
- Identify areas for improvement in IT infrastructure and supports services to then implement changes to increase efficiency in operations, ensuring they are aligned with the needs of the business
- Partner with external vendors and business unit leads to provide comprehensive end-user solutions while keeping up with technology trends to support problem solving
- Assist vendors in solving issues with business applications and hardware and provide summary reports to manager on day-to-day activities and project updates, ensuring 100% conformance to organizational hardware and software standards
- Schedule project and deployment tasks between the company, Reyes Holdings, and vendors, under the direction of field IT engineering manager
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 1 to 2 plus years of experience in a technical support environment working with and implementing projects or High School Diploma and 5 plus years of experience in a technical support environment working with and implementing projects
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience with IT infrastructure, hardware, and software
- Agile Project Management, ADO, Microsoft Project and other project management tools experience
