Field Project Coordinator
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Field Project Coordinator to lead and oversee construction projects from initiation through completion, to support day-to-day project execution across multiple properties. This role is critical to ensuring smooth operations from acquisition through disposition.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Familiarity with the Detroit market and surrounding areas is strongly preferred. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, field-based position and enjoys solving problems, staying organized, and keeping projects moving. No real estate license is required. As a key driver of project success, you will be instrumental in maintaining project timelines, budgets, and quality standards while fostering positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate property access, showings, and site visits for company-owned properties
- Visit job sites and properties to assess status, verify conditions, and support ongoing projects
- Serve as a point of contact for buyers, sellers, contractors, and title companies to help resolve issues and keep transactions moving forward
- Manage property logistics including key control, lock changes, and access coordination
- Assist with scheduling, vendor coordination, and general project tracking
- Support operational needs across the business, handling a wide range of tasks as they arise
- Ensure timely communication and follow-up across all parties involved in transactions and projects
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with the Detroit real estate market and surrounding areas preferred
- Contractor experience or licensing is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt quickly
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or project coordination within the electrical or heavy civil sectors
- Extensive on-site construction experience
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Knowledge of contracts negotiation and administration in the construction industry
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders

Pay: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
