We are a construction company actively seeking a laborer for immediate hire to collaborate with our team on multiple construction projects throughout Oakland County. Duties include but not limited to assisting skilled tradesmen in their duties, cleaning and preparing job sites, loading and unloading equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment, sometimes using hand trucks, dollies, or other equipment.
• Site Preparation: Cleaning and preparing the job site, which may include digging trenches, clearing debris, and setting up structures.
• Equipment Operation: Using a variety of hand and power tools under supervision.
• Assisting Skilled Trades: Providing support to carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other skilled workers on a project.
• Maintaining a Safe Environment: Ensuring the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Following Instructions: Adhering to directions from supervisors and project managers.
• Performing Manual Labor: Engaging in physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to multi-task with excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be detail oriented with ability to think critically in decision making, commitment to safety and problem solving.
• Sound knowledge of construction and practical experience with tools.
