Salary Range: $62,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily finishing production activities and personnel.
• Ensure all finished products meet quality standards, specifications, and client requirements.
• Manage, train, and develop a team of finishing operators, fostering a productive work environment.
• Optimize workflow and scheduling to meet production targets and deadlines efficiently.
• Monitor and maintain finishing equipment, coordinating preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and housekeeping standards within the finishing department.
• Identify and resolve production issues, defects, or bottlenecks in the finishing process.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing finishing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Demonstrated expertise in quality control standards and inspection techniques relevant to finishing processes.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a production team to achieve output and quality targets.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot production issues and interpret technical specifications.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and compliance requirements.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP software.
• Certification in a relevant quality standard (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Proven background in root cause analysis and corrective action.
