Medical Assistant - Dermatology Office

MI Skin Center is a patient-centered dermatology practice offering medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services. We are seeking a hardworking, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our high-performing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in dermatology while working directly alongside experienced providers. Whether you’re preparing for advanced healthcare training or looking to grow within dermatology long-term, this role offers a strong clinical foundation in a supportive, learning-driven environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist providers during medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms for a clean, efficient clinical flow.
- Collect patient histories and document accurately in the EMR.
- Support surgeries, biopsies, wound care, and post-procedure education.
- Perform basic lab tasks such as specimen collection and labeling.
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling while ensuring accuracy.
- Deliver empathetic patient support and education on treatment plans.
- Uphold strict infection control, privacy, and safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical terminology and outpatient clinical workflow.
- Previous experience in dermatology, surgery, or specialty healthcare.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Pay: $14.50+ per hour (based on experience).
- Schedule: 4 Days per week . Shifts are 8-10 hours per day. We are willing to be flexible with scheduling for the right candidate.
- Seeking candidates who are willing to commit for 2+ years to ensure continuity of patient care and team growth.
