Job Title: Assembler
Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler and contribute to crafting high-quality glass panel doors with integrated blinds for residential use. This position offers a rotating schedule on an assembly line, where you will utilize power tools to ensure precise assembly. No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training is provided. The shift runs from 6:15 am to 2:45 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Work on the assembly line, rotating through various stations every hour.
• At Station 1, prepare the blinds for assembly.
• At Station 2, clean and prep glass panels while wearing a hair net, lifting and twisting panels weighing around 2 pounds.
• At Station 3, collaborate with a partner to seal glass panels together using suction cups and ensure proper alignment on the conveyor belt before sending them through the oven.
• At Station 4, check the glass post-oven to ensure it is properly sealed and assist in pushing the now 20-pound panels down the line.
• At Station 5, continue pushing and cleaning the glass panels along the assembly line.
• At Station 6, test the functionality of the blinds.

• 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Good attitude and willingness to learn

• Familiarity with assembly line processes
• Experience using hand and power tools
• General knowledge of production and mechanical assembly

Work Environment

Work in a large, clean facility where tasks are not overly strenuous. The environment is conducive to learning and collaboration.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zeeland, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
