Salary Range: $48,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts from machines.
• Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments.
• Adjust machine offsets and tooling as required to maintain part quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating, setting up, and troubleshooting CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Ability to perform basic G-code and M-code programming, editing, and machine offsets.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges) to ensure part quality.
• Strong understanding of different tooling, materials, cutting parameters, and machining processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360).
• Experience operating and programming advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMMs, optical comparators).
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with 4-axis or 5-axis machining.
