Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification
- Experience working with students who have a variety of disabilities
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Understanding of IEP processes and implementation
- Collaborative approach to working with staff, students, and families
- Passion for fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized instruction to students with special needs
- Create and adapt lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Implement and monitor students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and team members
- Provide guidance, motivation, and advocacy for students to reach their full potential
