If you’ve spent years building aerospace tooling, you know the satisfaction of a perfect fit. Imagine leading a team through complex builds—calculating the dimensions others left out, laying out designs on multiple materials, and validating every reference point with precision metrology. Your mission

• Own the build: execute jigs and fixtures exactly to prints and customer specifications.
• Fill in the gaps: compute unspecified dimensions and translate them into accurate layouts.
• Anchor accuracy: establish and coordinate reference points and tooling holes using straightedges and measurement tools.
• Lead from the front: guide a team assembling tooling components for aerospace customers.
• Keep tools flight-ready: perform repairs and rework as needed.
• Communicate visually: create sketches for the fabrication team.
• Jump on machines when needed: lathes, Bridgeports, and grinders.
• Embrace additional responsibilities as assigned.

Experience that sets you apart

• At least 5 years as a fixture builder in aerospace.
• Expertise in geometric tolerances and reading complex blueprints.
• Catia V5 and Enovia exposure is a plus.
• Strong math with clear written and verbal communication.
• Organized, thorough, and deadline-conscious.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 and AS91000 quality standards (desired).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
