Your role as an integral member of our maintenance team starts with an understanding of our culture of innovation and excellence. An Equipment Maintenance Specialist is essential to our operations, managing the upkeep and repair of crucial equipment and facilities.

What Your Day Looks Like:

Our specialist is hands-on with a variety of repair tasks, ranging from diagnosing and fixing production machinery to dealing with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Whether it's tinkering with CNC Equipment or planning work with building blueprints, you are the go-to expert. Your tasks involve general repairs that don't require specialty skills — think changing filters and lights or touching up fixtures with carpentry repairs.

Key Competencies:

• One year of experience in CNC machining centers, with exposure to mills, lathes, and EDMs.
• Familiarity with Heidenhain, Fanuc, and Haas controls can set you apart.
• Ability to decipher electrical and mechanical drawings and troubleshoot I/O cards.
• Technical acuity regarding axis motors and machine tool alignment.
• Experience with tool installation, laser positioning, and application of compensations.

The Ideal Candidate:

You thrive on understanding the nuances of mechanical, electrical, and axis drive systems. You can tackle motor alarms, spindle issues, and more, with confidence. Bonus points if you have press hydraulics experience!

Skills and Traits:

• Excel in following instructions.
• Sound knowledge of multiple trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Comfortable using both hand and power tools.
• Fork-lift certified, or willing to learn how to operate scissor and man lifts.
• Superb organizational prowess, with a knack for time management.
• Familiarity with fabrication is an advantage.
• Bolt confidence and readiness to learn basic machinery commands.

Education:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• We favor candidates with related experience, though on-the-job training is available.

Physical Requirements:

• Expect to be on your feet and moving throughout the workday.
• Agility for climbing, bending, and navigating confined spaces is essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with oils and solvents safely, in full PPE.
