Guest Experience and Operations Manager

At The Holly Campground, we need a hands-on Manager who leads by example and is ready to create a seamless, system-driven operation that delivers exceptional guest experiences
Your mission? To run our dynamic campground like a well-oiled machine, transforming first-time visitors into lifelong guests and passionate brand ambassadors. This role is about operational excellence—driving financial performance by increasing revenue, optimizing costs with innovative tech solutions, and fostering a team culture dedicated to delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading operations: Oversee all departments to ensure seamless, system-driven operations that uphold our high standards of excellence.
- Building and leading a winning team: Recruit, train, and motivate staff to deliver five-star service while fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Creating exceptional guest experiences: Proactively resolve guest concerns, anticipate needs, and ensure every stay is memorable and impactful.
- Driving financial performance: Maximize profitability through effective budgeting, cost control, and revenue strategies.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated person who enjoys meeting new people, and bringing smiles to their faces, Customer Service is a required skill. We are also looking for the following skills:

Requirements:
- ServSafe Certified
- Ability to stand and move for up to 6 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
- Professional Communication with on-site guests
- Ability to take direction from supervisor/direct manager
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff
- Develop positive guest relationships
- Email and Phone Correspondence
- Liaise between employee and guest
- Provide direction to staff and build strong team members
- Self-lead and work independently with company goals in mind
- Fill in during absentees , hold and provide accountability
- Help create and foster respectful and inclusive team environments
- Ability to count and give change
- Ability to uphold and maintain work culture/policies and procedures
Hours Excepted:
This position is seasonal with the possibility of becoming year-round after completion of second season. The camping season starts on immediately and ends on November 2nd. The position may require travel to other locations, trainings, and more. Weekends are required during the full season: Friday afternoon through Sunday. All Holidays (4th of July, and Labor Day) are required. If you are not able or willing to work weekends and the summer holidays, please do not apply for this position. This is position requires responsibility and the ability to self-lead.
Wages/Skills:
This position's pay is BOE. Those looking to enter the hospitality industry are welcome to apply.
Application process:
Please apply by June 9th. After June 9th, all applications will be reviewed. If you are chosen to continue through the application process, the first phone interview will be scheduled with you. The phone interview will get a baseline of interest, skillset, and the like. Feel free to ask questions! After the first phone interview, if you are still selected and you wish to move forward, a in-person interview will be set. The whole application process may take up to a month to complete. If hired, training will begin within 2 weeks from the offer proposal.
