Demand Planner | Muskegon, MI
Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate statistical demand forecasts for products.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Production to gather market intelligence.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to refine forecasts.
- Facilitate demand planning meetings and provide input for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, identify root causes for significant variances, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage demand plans for new product introductions and product discontinuations.
- Utilize forecasting software and ERP systems to generate and manage demand plans.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning software; strong Excel skills.
- Demonstrated strong analytical, statistical modeling, and data interpretation abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
- Solid understanding of S&OP processes and inventory management principles.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Anaplan).
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience participating in S&OP process improvement initiatives.
