The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Whitehall seeking Welders who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials (steel, aluminum, stainless steel).
• Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and other technical specifications to determine the appropriate welding process.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications using measuring instruments.
• Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting components.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure all welding activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with welding equipment or processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in manufacturing welding environments.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding processes on various materials (e.g., steel, stainless steel, aluminum).
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Current AWS certification (e.g., D1.1, D1.2) or equivalent demonstrable welding qualifications.
• Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in a production setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• TIG welding experience
• Ability to read complex blueprints and schematics
• Experience with fabrication tools and techniques (cutting, grinding, fitting)
• Forklift or overhead crane certification
