Content Producer (Photo & Video)
RAW Detroit is looking for a Content Producer to support our team this summer.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being out in the city capturing real moments across Metro Detroit. You’ll be working on social content, event coverage, and helping bring local stories to life across our platforms.
This is a great opportunity for a mid-level creator looking to gain real-world experience and build their portfolio while working on a variety of shoots.
Responsibilities:
- Capture photo and video content across Metro Detroit for social media and articles
- Assist with event coverage (media access provided when applicable)
- Shoot content with a social-first mindset, built for platforms like Instagram and TikTok
- Follow creative direction while also bringing your own ideas to shoots
Qualifications:
- Based in Metro Detroit and able to travel locally
- Mid-level experience in videography (photography is a plus)
- Strong understanding of social media (especially Instagram)
- Understanding of what makes content perform (hooks, pacing, storytelling, social psychology)
- Comfortable using editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar)
- Must have your own camera and basic gear (some equipment may be provided)
- Available on weekends
Preferred (Not Required):
- Drone experience (Part 107 license preferred)
Compensation:
- Paid per project (rates vary based on scope)
- Training provided

This is a summer position with the potential to transition into an ongoing role with RAW Detroit for the right fit.
