Moore Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC & Plumbing Service Manager to lead and grow our mechanical service division.

This role is responsible for the overall performance of both the HVAC and Plumbing service departments, including technician performance, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, operational efficiency, staffing, training, and profitability.

Working closely with leadership, dispatch, and field technicians, the Service Manager serves as the operational leader of the service division and is accountable for building a high-performing team that delivers exceptional customer experiences while driving sustainable business growth.

The Opportunity

As the HVAC & Plumbing Service Manager , you'll oversee the performance, profitability, and growth of both service departments while developing the systems, people, and processes required to support long-term success.

You'll play a key role in expanding Moore Mechanical's service operations, improving customer satisfaction, developing future leaders, and creating a scalable service organization capable of supporting continued growth.

What You'll Own

Department Leadership

  • Lead all HVAC and Plumbing service operations
  • Oversee Service Technicians and Senior Service Technicians across both trades
  • Establish performance expectations and accountability standards
  • Create consistency across service delivery and customer experience
  • Build and maintain a positive, high-performance team culture

Technician Development

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top talent
  • Develop technicians through coaching, mentoring, and training
  • Create career paths and advancement opportunities
  • Build leadership depth within the department
  • Conduct performance reviews and development planning

Operational Performance

  • Monitor daily service operations and technician productivity
  • Improve scheduling, dispatching, and workflow efficiency
  • Ensure technicians have the tools, resources, and support needed to succeed
  • Reduce callbacks and warranty issues
  • Improve operational consistency across both trades

Customer Experience

  • Ensure exceptional customer service on every interaction
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns
  • Build long-term customer relationships
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and online reviews
  • Protect and enhance Moore Mechanical's reputation

Revenue & Profitability

  • Drive service department revenue growth
  • Monitor department performance and key metrics
