Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead strategic growth initiatives, expand our client base, and strengthen long-term relationships with key customers. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in B2B business development—preferably within engineering, technical consulting, or professional services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies and business development plans aligned with company objectives
• Manage, retain, and grow relationships with existing clients
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities to expand the client base
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of company services, capabilities, and value propositions
• Research market trends, business opportunities, and viable revenue streams (local and international)
• Identify and map customer needs to company strengths and service offerings
• Write, review, and present business proposals, bids, and RFP responses
• Negotiate with clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Draft and review contracts in collaboration with internal teams
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape
• Track performance metrics and report on successes, opportunities, and areas for improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
• Proven experience in business development or sales leadership, preferably within engineering services, consulting, or technical B2B environments
• Strong understanding of engineering or technical service offerings
• Demonstrated success in client acquisition, account management, and contract negotiation
• Excellent communication, proposal writing, and presentation skills
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and relationship-building abilities
