Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:30AM-4:00 PM
Starting Pay: $18/hour

We are currently hiring a Material Handler for our 1st shift team. This individual will be responsible for sorting and taking apart various electronics, while focusing on efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who is interested in technology, is willing to learn and has great attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

• Disassemble various electronics using hand and power tools, remove materials, sort and grade circuit boards, and properly handle batteries when required.
• Process, weigh, and organize materials in designated areas while maintaining productivity and meeting daily production goals.
• Follow all work instructions, safety standards, company policies, and applicable federal, state and local regulations.
• Perform daily equipment inspections; promptly report any concerns immediately and maintain equipment.
• Secure cargo for transport using appropriate methods.
• Communicate and work effectively with coworkers and the public while maintaining composure in fast-paced or high-stress situations.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Basic computer literacy (data entry and inventory tracking)
• Forklift experience or willingness to become certified
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance

Skills and Abilities

• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to communicate in both verbal and written forms.
• Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Majority of shifts are spent standing or walking.
• Regularly requires bending, sitting, reaching, and stooping.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Routinely performs repetative movements such as twising and lifting.
• Be able to walk up and down stairs.
• Must be able to enter and exit industrial equipment.
