Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales performance, and develop a high-performing team. This role is responsible for executing business strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining Tiffany’s reputation as a premier destination for wine and specialty retail.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Recruit, train, and develop staff
• Create schedules and manage labor through ADP Mobile
• Foster a positive, accountable, and customer-focused culture

Sales & Customer Experience

• Drive revenue through merchandising, promotions, and events
• Lead in-store experiences including tastings and special events
• Ensure exceptional customer service and product knowledge

Operations & Compliance

• Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with all Michigan liquor laws and internal policies
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships

Financial Performance

• Monitor sales, margins, and expenses
• Execute promotional strategies (wine sales, wine club, events)
• Analyze performance and adjust operations accordingly

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of retail or hospitality management experience
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Experience with inventory, scheduling, and POS systems
• Knowledge of wine, beer, or specialty food (preferred, not required)
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and peak retail periods
