Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2300 - $2360

Registered Nurse Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: December 22, 2025
• Nursing Shift: 5x8-hour day shifts (08:00 – 16:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekend Coverage: Every 4th or 5th weekend required
• On-Call: Evening rotation a few times per month
• Location: Iron Mountain, MI (49801) – Michigan nursing jobs in a vibrant MI/WI border community with access to parks, hiking, and local culture
• Mileage Reimbursement: Eligible per IRS guidelines; fleet cars available

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent home health RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan (and Wisconsin, or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Experience with OASIS and Kinnser clinical documentation systems
• Fingerprinting required for Michigan healthcare placements
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• First-time travel nurses welcome!

Homecare RN Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric home health and hospice patients in Michigan and Wisconsin
• Perform admission assessments, start of care, resumption of care, and routine home visits
• Manage medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and pain management
• Utilize OASIS and Kinnser for clinical documentation and patient records
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care with physical therapy, social services, and other healthcare team members
• Participate in Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), hourly rounding, and utilize AIDET communication framework
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
• Educate patients and families on disease management, safety, and self-care techniques
