Journeyman Industrial Machine Rebuild Specialist
Step into a day where uptime depends on your craft
Working with minimal oversight, you will be the expert called when production equipment needs to be rebuilt, aligned, or brought back to peak performance. From precision machining of parts to complex troubleshooting, you keep plant manufacturing systems running safely and efficiently. - Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using drawings, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
- Fabricate or repair parts by setting up and operating precision machines.
- Install, align, and adjust equipment and components, ensuring everything runs true.
- Execute safe rigging and heavy moves to position machinery.
- Perform welding tasks (TIG, MIG, ARC and more) and related metalwork as needed.
- Access elevated work areas using approved lifts and equipment.
- Coach apprentices and work alongside contractors and fellow mechanics to transfer knowledge.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with OSHA and MIOSHA standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the plant.
How we safeguard our workplace and business
- Protect company assets against theft and misuse.
- Maintain segregation of duties to minimize fraud risk.
