Human Resource Generalist
Full-Time | On-site | $24–$28/hour
Location: Southeast Michigan

Ace Outdoor Services is a well-established, premier full-service outdoor company with over 25 years of success in Southeast Michigan. We are growing and looking for a dedicated Human Resource Generalist to join our fast-paced, professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Staffing
Post open positions, screen resumes, and conduct interviews
Administer assessments and manage applicant evaluation
Employee Relations & Compliance
Maintain accurate personnel files and HR records
Coordinate performance reviews and track evaluations
Support employee retention and recognition programs
Monitor Workers’ Compensation (W/C) and Unemployment Insurance (UIA) claims
Health & Safety
Manage employee handbook updates and safety policies
Conduct new hire orientations and ensure safety protocol compliance
Training & Development
Lead onboarding and training initiatives
Monitor employee progress through 30/60/90-day check-ins
Support continuous learning and development programs
Other Duties
Complete additional HR tasks as requested by management
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 2 years of HR experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skilled in organization, time management, and conflict resolution
Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
