CMM Programmer

What Youll Do:

• Program and validate CMM routines using Zeiss Calypso software (or PCDMIS with intent to train in Calypso)

• Conduct detailed inspections on forged and machined components, including tooling and die blocks

• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to interpret complex GD&T requirements and theoretical data points

• Support in-process and post-process inspections across 30+ CMMs, including critical aerospace lines

• Participate in first-level troubleshooting and triage for CMM equipment and measurement anomalies

• Serve as a key contributor to a lean and high-performing metrology team

What Youll Need:

• 2+ years of experience programming CMMs using Zeiss Calypso or PCDMIS (with a willingness to cross-train)

• Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

• Strong grasp of inspection processes in aerospace, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments

• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documentation

• Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic production setting

Whats Preferred:

• Experience inspecting forged components or die tooling

• Familiarity with theoretical and non-standard datums and measurement setups

• Exposure to both in-process and final inspection environments

• Prior cross-functional involvement with CNC or quality engineering teams
