Legal Executive Assistant – Litigation Law Firm
A prominent Metro Detroit litigation law firm is seeking a Legal Executive Assistant to support the Executive Director in a dynamic and high-level administrative capacity. This is a unique opportunity for a highly organized and experienced professional to work directly with firm leadership and contribute to firm-wide operations and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to the Executive Director, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and executive-level correspondence
- Assist with legal administrative duties related to litigation, including preparing and proofreading legal documents and case materials
- Support HR functions such as onboarding, employee communications, and maintaining confidential personnel records
- Coordinate with attorneys, staff, and outside vendors to ensure smooth daily operations
- Prepare reports, presentations, and special projects as assigned
- Maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential matters
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a legal environment; litigation experience required
- Prior experience supporting C-level executives or law firm leadership strongly preferred
- Exposure to or experience in human resources functions a plus
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal billing and case management software a plus
- Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
