About Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital
Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24 1955 as a 238-bed community hospital. Today the hospital is a 1101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult traumaand Level II pediatric traumadesignations. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows. Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine with more than 1400 Beaumont doctors on faculty.
Scope of work
Under site designate leader and according to established policies and procedures performs accurate and efficient Mammography exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment independent judgment ingenuity and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Always follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
Qualifications
Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
1-3 Years experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
Certification by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Additional Mammography (ARRT)(M) certification required within 1 year of hire.
Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association and /or the American Red Cross.
