Production Supervisors are: + Resilient + Detail oriented + Ambitious + Demonstrate high integrity **What you'll do...** + Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements + Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts + Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership + Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams **You'll have...** + High School Diploma or GED + 1+ years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience + Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook + Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends **Required Behaviors** + Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations + Machining experience + Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers + Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset + Create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies + Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively + Values different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from others **Even better, you may have...** + Bachelor's Degree + Safety and quality experience + Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified + Knowledge of constraint management principles + Prior experience managing a unionized workforce You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
